In my classes I seek to provide first of all a supportive environment that will address not only the physical challenges but the emotional ones as well. I hope to provide a space where students can feel comfortable in their own bodies and able to connect to their deep core muscles in a soft way. We work on body awareness, flexibility, strength, understanding the range of muscular tone within the pelvic floor and deep stability. The classes are in a group setting, led in a way that will facilitate everyone working at a similar pace while staying sensitive to their own practice. I take the time to teach anatomy, explain in depth the structures we are working on and address day to day function as well. Often times, and especially in workshops, I invite people to share in the group their stories, experiences and challenges. My goal is to hold a class that is accessible to all, where small self discoveries can be revealed along the healing path.
